So You're Dating a Brit- Limited Edition Olympic Candy Bars

One of the coolest treats that Dan brought home from England were three limited edition Cadbury bars that were created for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.

We taste tested all three and were in agreement of how they ranked. It would have been a nice symmetry if they had ranked in the same order as the real Olympic Medals, but it wasn't to be.

In a very distant third place, we have the SIlvery Creme bar. At first, we thought that the filling might be similar to the whites of a Cadbury Creme egg, only more firm than creamy. Then, it tasted like the British MIlky Bar. Not terrible, but I would be hard pressed to recommend it after tasting the other two bars.

Second place goes to Nuts for Goid, Cadbury chocolate with lots of finely chopped nuts. Classic and delicious.

Our clear first place  favorite was the Bronzed Creme Crunch. If this was available in America, it would easily supplant Snickers as my favorite candy bar. I'm not even exactly how to  describe it. Dan thinks that it had bits of honeycomb finely crushed as the base. I think the middle layer is a bit like a heath bar. so good!

I feel like at this point in the blog, I should write something about the games. I've never been a fan. Nope, not at all. I always groan as my regular television programming is put on hold as the country is wrapped up in a patriotic obsession with our medal count. I've never been an athlete and have little interest in any sport, save a fleeting interest in MMA and Pro Wrestling (both of which I watched with guys that I was dating, but actually found myself enjoying). Now that I have sampled my candy bars, I am officially done with my interest in the 2012 Summer Olympics. My interest in the 2014 Winter Olympics is entirely dependent on a Russian company producing a cool candy bar!
